Do you think LSU can beat the Dolphins??
in 2005 i believed USC could beat the texans. It seems like LSu players know each other more than the phins know each other, and in any team sport its a pivotal component to winning a game. what are your thoughts on that match. heh and i am a dolphins fan mind you.
funny that u guys mention that. people said the same thing in regards of the NBA and international players. but a team of allstars couldnt beat argentina?? if a team doesnt mesh they dont win. yes, NBA is a different sport but in a sport like football you never know even more so. i mean through out the season the only answer miami can talk about right now is bringing ricky williams back?!?!yeah its pro vs. amatuer, but lsu does have a chance against dismantled, desperate, in-shambles team .

Let me explain something to you and anyone that will read this that might know a lot about football. While you might watch a college game and say, "they're darn good" Yes they might have a good college team, but with that said. That "darn good" college team might, MAYBE have 3 players that will make it to the NFL(and that's a VERY good college team!) While any NFL team will have the very best of the best college players at EVERY position! Here is a stat to think about. Less than 2% of every college football players will ever make it to the NFL. Less than 2%!
So, there isn't any way that the very best college football team of all time could hang with the very worst NFL team of all time, not even close!
Also, something to think about. There is a minimum age limit in the NFL, that protects players that might want to go straight into the NFL right out of highschool or even after their first year of college. The NFL is a physical, violent sport. You can get away with going straight into the NBA or MLB right out of highschool, because it's not a physical, violent sport like football.
A college football team playing against an NFL team would be like men playing against boys.

no USC could not beat the Texans in 05, NFL is much faster and Texans players are there because they are good enough to make it to NFL.
LSU can not beat the phins this yr too. u think a team that will produce 4 or 5 NFL graduates can beat a team of pro players ?
if u put college all stars against the worst NFL team, they just might stand a chance but dont bet on it.

The Dolphis may have 5 guys that a capable of playing in the NFL. Oh, with Ricky Williams that is 6.
The game would be better and more competitive than LSU vs Ohio State. I would say LSU by 3.

To everyone on this forum: Quit comparing college kids and teams to the NFL. #1 All the players in the pros were great players in college. Most players from college teams do not make the pros and have to work elsewhere The players in the pros have much more expeerience and usually rookies don't make immediate impacts in the NFL for good reason. As bad as the Dolphins are and that's plenty bad, they would tear LSU up in a very ugly game. LSU might score but would never threaten to beat them.

No team in college will ever beat a team in the NFL. It's just a fact.
And yes, LSU did lose to UK, but hey it was a close game and one for the books.
Kind of sad when Kentucky has to rush the field after every win because they don't win too often.
You will never see LSU fans do that because LSU is expected to win every game they play.
See you in the SEC Championship Game...oh wait, UK didn't make it. Sorry...losers

Dolphins are so bad this year that I think Notre Dame could beat them!!! They did just beat a better team in Duke. . . . . . .
I'm sorry, I think I can stop laughing at that one now.
Honestly, i don't really think so. LSU is younger and much faster but the fact is, they are in two different leagues and the NFL is full of professionals that were stars on their team in college. So I look at the dophins as an all star college team playing against more all-star college teams.

In 2005 you didn't know much about football, and you haven't learned a whole lot about it since then. LSU might have 5 guys who are capable of playing in the NFL. Match them up against a whole team of guys who were great enough in college to make it t the NFL. LSU would get creamed.

Not only were they all college all stars, but they also have been playing the game a lot longer. Guys like Jason Taylor could use a different trick on every play, not to mention being the superior athlete.
LSU would have 0 chance.

LSU won't beat KU.
Who are the idiots who can't understand that an 11-0 team is better than a 9-1 team?
ROCK CHALK!

I'm a Fin Fan. and while it might seem that way, college kids would get. I'll take a win anyway the team can get it.
