AMV tips please?

Alrighty, I haven't made any AMVs yet, but I like to edit videos in my spare time and I constantly watch AMVs. I'll try to answer your questions as best as I can.

1. I have Adobe Premier Elements. It's cheaper than Adobe Premier, but it's very good. It's about $99.00.

Sony Vegas 7 is also good too. Very nice effects.

Pinnacle is pretty good, but I've heard that it crashes.

I agree, Windows Movie Maker isn't very good. Adobe makes very good movie editing programs, but they're rather expensive.

2. This depends on the length of your video. I'm not quite sure, I'll get back to this. I've never really run into problems with this, but then again, I don't have that much on my computer.

3. Don't repeat scenes. That is a big no-no.

You're going to want to use a varied collection of scenes. Don't stay on one scene for more than a few seconds. Trust me.

Switch scenes frequently. Effects are nice.

Sync it with the music. Very important.
