    Jethro Tull was in agriculture in the 18th century and invented the seed drill. Ian Anderson was the founder of the folk rock band who borrowed his name and used it as the band name. They formed in the late sixties and still perform now, I think. Their biggest hits were "The Witches Promise" and"Living in the Past". Ian Anderson played the flute and his gimmick was to stand on one leg while doing it.
