I have germinated some peppers (Fatalii, Jolokia Peppers) and some assorted herbs. I germinated them in a small greenhouse type apparatus. Now they are about two inches tall and have the two seed leaves and a newer set of regular leaves coming on. I have a Fluorescent grow light on them. My question is how many hours a day should I keep the light on them?

I would prefer a free ware but would purchase one as well.

I want to cut certain segments out of mp3 files and save them as shortened versions. Is there a free ware or a program I can download for free to do this?

OK, I am not a political person I usually don't get wrapped up in this kind of thing but...I was sitting in a restaurant today and happened to catch Hillary on T.V. at the podium with Bill smiling and walking behind her shaking hands and looking cocky and icky as only Bill can do. Is there anyone out there besides me that is sickened that this philanderer and immoral spouse hanging around Hillary during her political debates etc? I mean it is obvious she supports and condones his behavior because she is still with him. What does this say about America and the people we have running for President?

I have a large Trane Heat Pump in my home. My question is this, The thermostat is placed on the wall in the hallway directly under the air intake and the filter is located above in the ceiling. It seems like this is the coldest and draftiest place in the home because it is where the intake is drawing in the air. Wouldn't the system do a better job if I relocated the thermostat to a place where the air temperature is more constant?

The house is old and has a space where only cats fit into. They are driving me insane. Is there any way I can make it uncomfortable for them so they will get out?

My wife’s 97 Cavalier has some shifting issues. I am a back yard mechanic but stumped with this one. It will go forward but the motor bogs but it will still drive. It will not shift into reverse and the car cannot be pushed when in any gear including neutral. The breaks are not locked up. When I put it into neutral and rock the car back and fourth I can see the motor moving so it is like the transmission is locked up or something. Are there any sensors or anything like that that will cause the car to appear or act like it is always in park? Any other ideas? We don’t want to put a lot of money into it becuae she is going to buy a new car soon.

I have a wireless router that is to share a Broadband Internet connection. Can't I just attach this to a desk top pc's Ethernet and attach to the router via a wireless laptop so that I can network the two computer together? I don't want to use the Internet just share printers and files.
