Wii Holiday Price Reduction?
I read online a month or two ago that there was a pretty healthy rumor that the Wii was going to be slightly reduced in price (permanently) starting around Christmas. Is there still any truth to this? I want one, but if they're going down a little bit, I'll hold off (not that I have a choice - I still haven't been able to find one in my area).
Any info is greatly appreciated.

no. they arent going to reduce it in price. theres no point in a price reduction as it will make the wii even harder to find. they are priced low enough anyway. they dont need to reduce the price.

From a marketing standpoint on Nintendo's end of things.... why would they?
All big businesses out there today thrive on increasing their profit margin, not decreasing it. If there are more people wanting something than what they can produce I can't imagine they would have any reason to lower the price.
