Why does everyone have to be sooo rude?
Yes, I am working for grades, but, I am not alittle kid. You know, the teachers are supposed to teach. She does nothing. I am also in two honor societies. I do give back to people, but only until she takes that away from me. Should I just sit back and let her do what she wants? Another question for you people to think about before spitting off brainless thoughts....or maybe, something for you to think about for future reference. Have you had or job where you work really hard and the guy next to you does nothing but he gets the raise or the reward? Well, if that happens don't get upset or whine about it...hey, after all you helped someone out and it's just a job! I get along with ALL of my teachers. Nobody likes her, because she is not a teacher!

I was at an outdoor Christmas program last night--sitting down so those behind me could see, and this group of adults with young children walks up and stands right in front of the group I was with. We asked them politely if they would mind moving over a bit--and they just looked at us like we were speking some alien tongue and continued to stand there. FInally they inched over, their kids were running around like little wirldmen, running into others, it was ridiculous!!! It was a wonderful evening--could have been spoiled by these very rude people, but we chose to get up and move rather than cause a scene. Afterall--it was a Christmas program. Goodwill toward men,etc..... I just can not understand people like that, it would have taken nothing from them to move over about 1 foot, but they just would not do that. Why? That is the $100,000 question. What has happened to manners and thinking oif someone other than yourself? Thankfully--those types were in the minority last night, we just happened upon them, and then we moved--but they are everywhere--just lurking to take away your joy. Don't let them.

If you can't tolerate an easy teacher, you will be useless in the workplace. It doesn't get more orderly in the real world. It gets stupider and more challenging, and thinking you can change it all to suit your taste is a recipe for stress and disaster. As a student, do you truly believe you know what transpires amongst the teachers? You can go complain to someone....This someone will probably be a friend and colleague of the person you are complaining about and wonder if you will be complaining about them next. Reputations are easy to get and impossible to change. Also, when students try to get too involved in teacher's matters, it's a big insult to all the teachers who are capable of instituting their own policies and methods.

I hope you are not one of my students.
I hear kids complain about good teachers all the time. True, some teachers don't care about their students (the old "those who can't do, teach" mantra)... for them it's just a paycheck. Suck it up, get your grade, and move on. Not every teacher you encounter in life is going to be perfect. If you feel that the grades she is giving you are unfair, have your parents schedule a conference.
Another bit of advice... teachers respond better to students who are positive and who want to succeed. Get rid of the attitude that it's her fault you aren't doing well, and go seek her help. You may not need it, you may not even gain anything from it... but come report card time, you will see that you've certainly benefited.

A teacher can only teach if somebody is willing to learn. And by learning I mean ask questions if they don't understand something or want more information. If the teacher is being asked questions then it's a learning experience for both. Also, teachers can be shy or nervous about talking in front of other people.
