Where would you move if you could afford to go anywhere you want to?

Update:

Wally for that I would quit my job because a couple months off would not be enough time.

I would buy an island of the Northern Pacific coast of South America and build a camoflaged home. Make it like an updated cross between Gilligan's Island and Eden. And have my favorite person in the world share it with me whenever she could get a few months off.

If I could afford to move anywhere it would probably be on Vancouver Island, and I would buy a lovely home on the beach, I would prefer it to not be a huge "impressive" house, just 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a lovely lanaii or deck, maybe slightly weather beaten - with a few quirks, as long as the plumbing and electricity are good.

Providing I also had enough money to be self supporting and independent, and to run and back forth to Vancouver for shopping for anything other than groceries .

I read this yesterday "If you are at peace with yourself, home is where ever you are". I like that, I could like to aspire to that.

Jessica the further north you go the more crazies there are in my experience - not meaning canada but the isolated northern areas of any country. Lived as far north as you can go in Alberta and talk about crazies. The psychologist there called it "the last fox hole" they can hole up in and hide from societies expectations

I would not want to sell my home in California. If I could afford too have a second home.....I would want it to be Taos, New Mexico.

With some of the big movie stars moving there it is getting to be more expensive then California.

My mother lives in Taos three of my sister's, two brother's. I would love to own a home in Taos. Getting to old for that to happen. Well, maybe not, never say never.....

I'd like to have a small farm in the Scottish Highlands. Nothing big, just somewhere to retire with my hubby. The only thing is, I'd miss the kids and my grandbabies. So Here is where I guess I'll stay, but as long as I can write about it in my story, I'll settle for that.

I have visited so many different places in this world that it would really be hard to choose.

Now, I'm going to visit several places in the U.S. that I have always wanted to visit. Perhaps I will find one there.

But, if I had to choose one place right now, it would be Tennessee. I could get a little place for me and grow my own fruits and vegetables in the summer. I guess you really can't take the little girl off of the farm if she likes it!

I cant narrow it down to one place so I will have to give a choice of a few. Either Paris France, Tokyo Japan, Hong Kong China, Finninkundas Greece(Peloponnese island), or Jamaica.
