Present for a 2 year old that loves to dance?
I have a daughter that loves to dance and will copy others dancing as well. I would love to get her a present that will encourage her dancing. I just don't have a clue what to buy.
I've seen the commercials for the Disney Dancing Princesses DVD, but it looks a little advanced for a 2 year old. There is also a Strawberry Shortcake DVD out.
I like the idea of a DVD as she is a visual learner. I would like to find something in the $10-15 range. What would you recommend?

My kids loved The Wiggles at that age. They watched the videos (Yummy,Yummy and Wiggle Time) and they would always get up and dance along. We also had a CD with many of the same songs, so we would just put it in and have a dance party. Here's a link to one of the videos that has great reviews for dancing:

My son is the same way, but his father says no, but he is going to dance class next year "to better himself for football". I would say a little dance costume you can get them at Walmart or Target with a tutu. And a Ballerina book, always a favorite. There is a DVD Baby Ballerina by Rosemary Boross that looks cute. I know I can't remember when it came out, but they had a ballet bar and everything to go with it. I danced ballet, pointe, and if you named it I did it, except tap, for 14 years and if they had this when I was younger, I would have went nuts!

If your daughter likes Barbies and doesn't have this, I saw a cute one at Koh's teacher, Ballet Teacher Barbie.
She may be a little young for a dance class at a studio (I used to teach dance) but maybe a music class where they can dance to the music for toddlers? But I guess this isn't exactly a present.

ADORABLE! My 2 year old loves to dance as well. A friend recommended the Barbie ballet series-especially "The Nutcracker". Get a little tutu or someother costume and she will have a ball!

You know those little ones absorb and imitate what they see and hear. I bet she would dance with either one.
I haven't seen them, but the Strawberry Shortcake sounds like a good one.=======
