PCI Express x16 running at x8, how significant will the bottleneck be?
I have bought a motherboard which supports x16 PCI-Express but it says it runs at x8. Do you think this will significantly affect the performance of the graphics card? Mobo is an ECS 6100sm-m and the graphics card a GECUBE X1900GT 256MB GDDR3. Only found out once I'd installed it :(

The maximum theoretical performance has been cut by half.
