Italian Girl Names?
I am pregnant and my husband and I agree on a boy's name. My heritage is Italian. I need some authentic Italian girl names that are pretty and not too hard to pronounce here in America. Please don't leave "Rose" names, as we know the middle name is Rosaria. Thanks!

Okay so here's my take on the matter....
Adalina- "noble" (I kinda realy like this one. It goes.... And you could do Ada for short.)
Alessa- "defender of mankind" (Pretty.)
or
Alessia- "defender"
Amedea- "to love God" (I like this a middle name.)
Annalisa- combination of "favor; grace" & "God is my oath" (I like this a bit also. I would maybe spell it differently.)
Annetta- "favor; grace"
Arabella- "answered prayer" (Maybe middle name.)
Well I like Adalia and Sofia also. I think you know what you want deep down. Go for the one embedded in your heart. You've got a while yet. Besides maybe you should be looking for boy's names.... :)

I love the name Rosaria! That would even make a great first name.
I also love Cecelia and Giada.

My recently arrived grandaughter was named Sophie Michelle so Sophie or Sophia would be a good Italian name

I used to have a neighbor named Daniela who was Italian. She'd married a serviceman. I loved her accent and my boyfriend thought her "hot." She was a pretty girl.

Don't base it on how many stupid people will be able to pronounce it. Base it on what you like.
