No, it is just an identity crisis in some suburban youth who need to be confronted with the state so the police and firefighters.

It must be said that these young people do not view themselves as french (even if they were french), and sees itself in relation to people from their families.

It's hard to explain this event even for a French.

Great question. If it is true that France is in the beginnings of a Civil War and France is well known for surrendering in 5 minutes or less, which side will quit first and how long will it last?

A civil war no, a revolution, maybe. Revolution is repeatedly part of France's history. The fact that this was all started because two teens died when THEY rammed into a police car is bewildering though. Now the word is they're firing shotguns at the police too. I think they underestimate Sarkozy's' resolve on riots and neglect all common sense related to actually benefiting society and instead turn to unnecessary violence.

I don't think France is in the beginning of a civil war, so much as a religious war.

France is and always has been a great and glorious nation. If not for the assistance of France during the American Revolution, the United States wouldn't even exist.France is not currently in a state of civil war.But check French history during the period 1962 when it was experiencing a civil war.A group of French army officers known as the Organisation Armee Secrete brought the French government to chaos and came within literally an inch of killing DeGaulle. The OAS was the most consummate group of terrorists who ever existed. It might even be that their cause was a just one.

    Of course not....

The violences have now ended... It was quiet yesterday night.

The first night, it was just in a little town and it happened on 6 little towns the second night.

No, Paris is not burning, and there is not any civil war there...

Doubtful, there's no organization, and no support from the general public. They've been rioting every year for a while now, and nothing ever comes out of it. (Assuming you mean the youth riots)
