KJV of the Holy Bible. The NIV states that man is a living being but the KJV states that man is a living soul. I see a great difference in the two versions because of this wording.

    Genesis 2:7 (New International Version)

    New International Version (NIV)

Genesis 2:7 the LORD God formed the man [a] from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

    Genesis 2:7 (King James Version)

    King James Version (KJV)

    Public Domain

7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

1 Corinthians 15:45 (New International Version)

    New International Version (NIV)

45So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being"[a]; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.

1 Corinthians 15:45 (King James Version)

    King James Version (KJV)

    Public Domain

45And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

The New World Translation of the scriptures is the most accurate translation existing today, It is written in modern English and produced by the Watch Tower Society.

It's rendering is closer to the original writings than any other. how ever it good to have more than one translation of the bible.
