Pregnant? Too early 4 blood test to tell?
Is it ever too early for a blood test to tell if I am pregnant? Or, could a blood test be wrong? I have been having preg symptoms for the past two weeks. I have been throwing up, my breast have been sore and hurting, and I have been feeling very queasy. Yesterday, I had cramps. I dont usually have pms symptoms at all and I dont chart my period, but it usually comes on at the end of the month. My period is sometimes irregular, but for the last two months, it has been the last week of the month. Only a few more days in this month and I have not come on yet. I took a home preg test and a blood test at dr, both neg. Could I still be pregnant? Might it be too early to tell? Could the test be wrong????? I just have this I know I'm pregnant feeling, but the tests say no. My grandmother died last month. I had a dream that we were talking about the baby and I woke up and said I want to name the baby after grandma. Yesterday my boyfriend had a dream that I was preg. Any chance of preg?

I suggest waiting till you are at least 6 weeks late. 2 weeks late is kinda of too soon. Everyone is different. I took a blood test and home test and both came up negative. But sure enough I WAS pregnant I did not find out til I was 7-8 weeks pregnant. I swore up and down and argued with the doctor that my symptoms were probably a bladder infection. NOT. I was convinced that a blood test was a definite result. But I guess it was done too early because the second one was positive.

I took an HPT two days after experiencing implantation bleeding and the test had an extremely faint second line. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. I went to my doctor and had a blood test done (about 8 DPO) and it came back "inconclusive". My Hcg level was 25, and according to my doctor, it has to be 26 to be positive. I waited another 5 days and then my blood test was definitely positive. I had a healthy pregnancy and an active 3 year old boy now. When my doctor did the blood tests, I had the results within 24 hours. Hope this helps!

I suppose it could be possible that you are still too early on to tell. It does happen. So just keep taking care of yourself give it some more time and keep taking tests if you still think you are. Pregnancy is detected by a buildup of the "pregnancy hormone" HgC in the body. If not enough of this had built up in your system yet it could cause a false negative test.

I am going through a very similar situation. I believe that I may be pregnant but everytime I take a hpt it is negative. I have already taken four. I do not know if it is too early or how early you can do a blood test but I am terrified of taking it myself for probability of it being negative. I want a baby really bad

You had a blood test and it said negative so no you're not pregnant and blood tests don't lie sorry to burst your bubble.
No the flu doesn't cause your boobs to hurt where did you get that from? It just sounds like you have or had the flu.
This kind of thing can cause you to have late periods and with the stress you have been under can cause it too.

yeah the tests could be wrong because you took them too early (2 weeks).By now you can tell if your pregnant by a blood test.I think there is a big chance that you are.
Good Luck if you want it hope you have it! :)

you probably had the flu or something. If BOTH tests you took were negative then you are fine!
