Indian Domestic Fight: Why doesn't ICL & IPL merge to form 1 league?
IPL & ICL's rivalry will harm Indian cricket. As stars of ICL won't play in IPL and vice-versa. So Why not both join to form a single league? This will surely do good to cricket. (No rumours about it)

b) No, they should remain as they are

Neither IPL nor ICL is good for Indian cricket. It may be good for the cricketers involved in these tournaments, in terms of securing financial benefits, but I doubt whether it will do any good to the Indian cricket in the first place. ICL and IPL are all about money, and commercial interests. This can disrupt the true spirit of the game. Still, I think that out of the two, IPL is the better choice, because ICL hardly has famous and talented players.

A:yes, I think they should form 1 league, they should have a team for every state in india, this will help the indian cricket selectors get more variety of players to look upon after their contract with the icl or ipl is done, to join indian national team

Yeah, for sure, ICL and IPL should join hands for the better aspect of the game. BCCI - "The Board for Control of Cricket in India" needs to liberalise the rules it has imposed on the players. BCCI has been very stubborn and acting like the boss of Indian Cricket.
When ICL is free to join hands with IPL, BCCI should really consider that offer and develop the game together.
There is no point in having the name "Board for Control of Cricket in India", if BCCI cant co-exist with others to develop the game. I dont see the sporstman spirit with BCCI. Unfortunately, it is more interested in making money, rather than developing the game.

Yes.
In the larger interest of Indian cricket BCCI must recognise or adopt ICL and also merge with IPL.
BCCI must leave first class cricket(Ranji trophy etc..)to ICL retaining only overall control and concentrate on international cricket.

Clearly, IPL and ICL merging would result in a fundamental shift in playing style, leaving a vacancy for an influx of Eastern-Pakistani methods. Furthermore, the obvious economic benefits of the aforementioned shift would yield an imbalance in association among the two leagues and eastern Europe.

hey it is foolish to suggest merger, i think BCCI should have competition. ICL should scale up it s scale of TV coverage which is bad, the uniform of the players is below average, i think ICL has blundered in too many areas which needs careful attention. The stadium is of poor standard.
