It would actually be an IBM based PC, not a microsoft PC. Windows isn't the only option ;)

Mac computers focus on quality control. They tend to have the best of everything. PCs are easier to upgrade.. thats about it.

Operating systems.. You really have the same choices. Linux, Mac, and windows. The one difference is compatibility. Windows is built in such a way that you may or may not be able to use it on a Mac. This is the only operating system that does this, so there isn't any need to worry ;)

Mac vs Windows has been an ongoing issue, but I have noticed that Mac always wins in the end.

Mac is faster, more secure, and has better programs.

Windows has proprietary software and a whole lotta bugs.

The sad.. well.. not really sad thing is, people are buying Macs, and windows is loosing ground. This means proprietary software is going to spread out more toward Mac and Linux, and have less in the windows area. Ok, so that really isn't bad.

The hardware utilized in a computing device and a Mac is the very similar. So what's the style? nicely, fee for one. a computing device with the very similar specs as an equivalent Mac will fee a minimum of one million/3 a lot less. So, what do you get for the better money? frequently macs comprise very sturdy reflects. you may get sturdy reflects to apply such as your computing device yet they fee better than your overall exhibit screen. What else do you get for your money? no longer some thing yet a style of a piece of fruit and the legal properly to apply Mac operating structures.

With the new Vista OS, there really isn't much difference. Some people think that PCs are easier to use, but I MUCH prefer macs. If you are planning on getting a computer and don't mind the price of the mac, definitely get one of them!

The difference between a PC and a Mac is the same as the difference between a pogo stick and a Porsche. Both eventually get you there but the Porsche is a helluva lot faster and a helluva lot more fun to use.

The operating system, oh, and upgradeability. That being a Standard PC has much more options for Software and hardware. Most people use Windows on these machines, some use alternatives, such as Linux

Microsoft has way more options for programs, but Macs are better. more money but better.

dont really ahve to worry about viruses, spyware, and everything is built in like iTunes, etc....

i currently have MS Vista, but i would choose Mac in a heartbeat.

    brand names.

Windows is owned by Microsoft Corporation

Macintosh is owned by the Apple Corporation.

like the difference between Reebok and Nike, or Levis and Wrangler.

They only share one thing in common. They are both utterly inferior to Linux .
