Has an over/under been established for this one?

How many times is Ed Olczyk going to use his employers' air time to remind us of his coaching stint in Pensburgh?

Since Erica noted this habit some time ago, I've had the odd distinction of hearing Edzo drop his resume on Versus, HD Net and Fox Sports. Quite the trifecta, no?

One would think a 17 year NHLer would be free of such self esteem issues. By the way, did I mention I invented one piece sticks? LOL

Update:

Bob - did they sell the idea to Itech? The idea made Robin Burns/Itech a mint and is still a cash cow. The patent ran out a couple of years back so EVERU company hopped on the jock plus wagon. And, yeah, I'm the guy you can blame for all those $200 twigs out there.

LITY - I was wondering who was responsible for that diaper dandy. Edzo killed me in '94. I didn't realize the head cheerleader got his name on the cup!

I was a '67 baby, but these days I gauge people's age with the "Miracle" line. If you weren't born before 1980, you probably think "Miracle" was a movie and that just makes me feel old...and depressed. LOL

Puck/Bill, you guys got something cooking. I can smell it!! LMAO

Update 2:

Lubers - What do you shoot? Get me your specs (side, flex, pattern), here or via email and I'll see what I can do. I'm going to be moving in the next month and there's no telling what gems might be hiding amidst my pile-o-sticks in storage.

I was an apprentice on the project that created air.

    Later I invented dirt.

Hence I am older than dirt.

LOL - you are my senior by a mere three weeks Bill (so were you on the air project too?)

  • Olczyk is ANNOYING!

He was on the TSN Talk Show Off The Record a couple of weeks ago and mentioned his coaching stint several times.

He was drafted by David Lucas........not my problem!

Just a note......but I believe the first 4 responders (and the asker) were all born BEFORE 1970.....

    Zap,

It's funny you mention the SC incident, Eddie's there because Mike Hartman complained (I'd be on the cup but I was injured yada yada) so starting in 1994, teams were allowed to petition the league to have players engraved who really didn't qualify (George Parros last year) and it's now known as the Hartman rule.

1967 eh? Cyrenaica was a 'centennial baby as we call them in Canada. He turned 40 last week. My daughter was born in 68 during the convention in Chicago. So, she knows what the Miracle is all about.

I'd like to be seated next to him the next time he says that on television. I'd say "OK, we know Eddie. And how far did you go with that job?"

The squeamish producers would cut to commercial while we go at it and after a long break the show will come back on and me and Eddie would look all roughed up.

Also, I haven't invented anything yet, but I'm conceptualizing a pickup truck that runs on methane collected from the drivers seat. Closest thing to a perpetual motion machine that humankind has ever known if I'm the driver.

    PUCKDAT = I don't know, I might be a little older. (8-30-60)

    PUCKDAT 2 = LOL, I must have.

I will set the over under for his next game on Versus at 5. I will keep track and we can follow up that night.

Zap: Shoot some free "samples" out to some of the regulars who still play!!

LITY: Up your count to five, I only made the cut-off by a month, but I still qualify.

Did you really invent one piece hockey sticks? A family I know had a hockey invention some years back. They invented the hockey shorts with the jock built in and the sock attachment.

Source(s): Zap-They did indeed sell the idea to ITECH- it was quite a few years back in small town N.S.. The families name was Cleveland, they also sold another hockey equipment idea, it was less successful and I cannot remember what it was. They were one of the richest families in town prior to their brainstorm, the rich got richer.

Sorry to interrupt your question Zap, but I wanna know why the old folks (Puck, Bill) up there were born after me.

You may resume your regular programming.
