How many of you Christians will fold to the politically correct standard and wish people "Happy Holidays"...

I'm sorry but, I cannot take Christ out of this time of the year. To me, as a Christian, it is the celebration of the birth of God, in flesh. In as much, I will always wish people a Merry Christmas. I do not wish to offend anyone but, I am not going to bend to the "worlds political correctness" when it comes to the true meaning of this season! To me, this would make me a hypocrit and it glorifies man's wishes and not the Savior's birth!

In fact, I pray that all Christians will stand with me in keeping Christmas a day, set aside, for the purpose of celebrating God's plan of salvation, come in flesh! I pray we never forget why this "holiday" was "birthed"!

I always say Merry Christmas to pretty much everyone.

If I know that the person is Jewish I will wish them a Happy Hannukah. Other than that, I get a little crazy at the thought that someone would be offended by heartfelt greeting from another person, regardless of the origin. I mean, I am not telling someone to have a rotten day, just wishing them well on a day that is important to me.

Do I go through the roof if someone wishes ME a Happy Hannukah even though it is not my celebration? No. I just say thank you and the same to you.

The Politically Correct crowd needs to lighten up in a major way.

Personally I think having to mask "Merry Christmas" w/ 'happy Holidays' is stupid!

If a person chooses to say H. H. instead of MC then that's a personal decision. But to have a 'policy' is so freaken stupid. I celebrate Christmas but if someone said "Happy _____" whatever religious holiday I wouldn't get offended...That is so stupid!

Someone is wishing me well bottom line how can that be wrong in any religion? So tell me Happy Kwanzaa or Happy Hanukkah...I will say "Thank you, you too." I don't need to point out the fact that I do not celebrate either.

If I tell someone "Merry Christmas" & they get offened, that's their issue NOT MINE again how can one get upset when really you are just wishing them well? It's called FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

Easter is a Christian holiday...we don't see ppl getting offended w/ all the Easter gear!

I believe we have the right to speak as we choose. The Holiday is to honor Christ our Saviors birth. I will never stop wishing anyone a Merry Christmas. I love the Lord and think he should get all the praise. Merry Christmas everyone.

I say Happy Holiday's. After all, I don't know what your beliefs are. If someone says Merry Christmas, I have no problem saying Merry Christmas back. (I'm not a christian)

I do not give into that. When people tell me Happy holidays, I say Merry Christmas.

Well, Since I view Christmas as a Christian Holiday, I say "Merry Christmas."

I always say "Merry Christmas (me being a Christian and all) and if they don't like it, too bad. What gets my gears grinding is when non-Christians celebrate Christmas and then twist the meaning into this commercial BS. I haven't heard the media say that Christmas is about the birth of Christ in a long time. If you are an Atheist, please don't celebrate any religious holidays.

When I lived in New York I was sensitive to Jewish people and holiday wishes--sometimes I'd say Merry Christmas but also Happy Hannukah. No skin off my nose--I know what I believe.
