Do you or others in your community tip the trash collector for Christmas?

I have never done that. I hear its customary to tip them if they are taking a large item... Like a Christmas tree.

I honestly don't know how people find time to tip a trash collector. What do you do? Wait on your front porch for him to come by in his big truck, then run out to the street. Personally, I can't see myself doing that.

Come to think of it, I don't think I have ever seen my trash collector. I have heard garbage trucks on my street, but have never been around to see the trash man.
