how can i get a shortcut i-con to yahoo answers and questions on my desktop.?

When you get there follow these steps:

1) Click on- File (top left hand corner)

2) Click on- Send (within File)

3) Click on- Shortcut to Desktop (within Send)

OR YOU CAN PUT A "MODULE" ON YOUR YAHOO HOME PAGE, which I have done. I'll go get the instructions and be right back!

Grrr...having problems finding the streamline to finding the Module. BUT....if you send me you email address I can share the module with you by sending it to you from my module!

Just click on my picture and it'll take you there!

Once there (http://answers.yahoo.com/) ...click on ANSWER, which is the middle box at the top.

Then all the Categories are listed down the left side.

Just chose which you are interested in!

Click on that Category, and QUESTIONS will appear.

Look for one that sounds interesting/that you know the answer, and click on that one.

Once the Question is on your screen, click on the BLUE "ANSWER THIS QUESTION" box.

Then type in your answer in the "YOUR ANSWER", click on "PREVIEW" (bottom right hand corner), if it needs no corrections then click on "SUBMIT".

You are also able to return and "EDIT" your answer as I have done with this one.

That should do it for ya! If for some reason it doesn't work, lemme know here!

You can also change the icon on your *Desktop* to identify it better. If ya need help, answer back here and I'll tell ya how!

Open the Answers HOME page (or any answers page) . Have your cursor be at anywhere on the page not HIGHLIGHTING any linked words. MAKE RIGHT CLICK and click CREATE SHORTCUT.

A message will appear saying if you want to a shortcut of the current page to your desktop.(A shortcut of the current page will be placed on your desktop). Click OK and you are done. You will see the shortcut icon in your desktop.

As far as putting a short cut icon to YA on your desktop, go to the File button in your browser if you are using IE7. Then down to send and over to shortcut to desktop.

To answer a question just click on the Answer this question tab that you see on any question that is open, just like I did with yours.

First a fall enter the handle/url of yahoo answer then look ahead to the website then persist with the stairs a million. Goto report menu of your browser 2. Then click on "shop as" 3. After the clicking a mini window will open 4. Now interior the right listbox choose the "workstation" 5. Now press the "shop" button. After finished those style of steps you will discover the shortcut on your workstation.
