Men...this question is for you...?
What do you mean when you say: "I felt love at first sight when i saw her"...Do you actually mean you were totally in love like you wanna marry the girl or you just find her very beautiful and attractive?
I need your serious and matured answers men...
Thanks!
Actually "that line" scared me when my bf said he experienced love at first sight with a girl way before he met me.
Bottom line, when he saw me, he didn't feel any love at first sight but his love for me just grew after a few months knowing each other.
I just feel scared now...i can't explain it well. i hope you understand how i feel.

Well to be honest with you, if we say that punchline so to speak, that primarily means that we are attracted to you girls. Love is not a magical thing that hits you in some instance in your life...it grows and develops in time....SO that's it if man says he's in love at first sight with you, means he has seen something in you which is attractive to him...so don't believe it's love that would end up in marriage in that instance, it takes time to know if its really love or just an attraction....That's the purpose of courting and flirting-to know and discover really if you are in love to each other....

It means that we have been caught up in the fantasy.
Unfortunately fantasies require an object of fantasy to work.
People are not objects and should not be treated like objects.
Fantasy can be turned into reality but it takes a lot of work and a real dose of reality. Action changes things.
The way to avoid being an object or making someone an object is to get to know the person, really know them. Learn to respect, honer, understand, and find pride in being with the person and you will be heading in the right direction. Giving and receiving these attributes takes fantasy to a far greater level called love.

((sorry I'm not a man. But men's brains literally lite up like a Christmas tree (in clinical brain studies) when they see a beautiful woman. Men's brains react more strongly than women's do to the sight of a handsome man. So men may use the word 'love' but really it's a man's strong brain, chemical, hormonal reaction. They don't know you as a person, so how could they love you as a person? They 'love' you as a beautiful sight. And that makes them feel great. Later hope they love you as a person.))

Normally that means that a guy is just finding her very beautiful and attractive. The reason for this is because us guys just care about whats on the outside at first unfortunately. Not to mention that you can't love someone without knowing them personally and who they are.

Well who knows, I didn't believe in "love at first sight", but I do now, considering for me and my girlfriend (dating for almost 5 months now) it really WAS love at first sight, though we didn't say it to each other right off the bat. (I'm a college student, if that justifies this option at all.)
It is going to depend from one guy to the next, but I'd have to say that if it's said right off the bat that it's not at all, it's just trying to get in bed with you, but like I said, it does exist, and for me, it's definitely "I wanna marry you", and same with my girlfriend. So it definitely exists, I'm proof of it! :)

You must be dealing with immature teenage boys--not respectful young educated men. It is the age old stupid line that works on some girls---then they have sex and the guy disappears---guys search high and low for those written pick up lines--they usually hear from the gang boys that this line works real good---then they try it. Real nice men don't use lines--only assh--les use lines--so if you hear one--the guy is an assh--le.--avoid him. Happy Holidays

Love at first sight is something i dont believe in at all.
Lust maybey, but love at least some kind of time and interaction.

It was all shallow feelings for the girl before you. He saw more than a body with you, he saw a great personality too. You should feel lucky.

well.. not only finding her beautiful and attractive.. but there's a certain kind of chemistry that happens at first site.. it's complicated to explain, but yes it might have the effect of wanting her for good

I've never said that because it is impossible to fall in love just be seeing someone.
Love to me is something reciprocated between two people.
