How can one shine down fake extensions?
I wear Jessica Simpson hair extensions and I can match the color exactly but the hair is way to shiny from my real hair. What can I do? The extension is NOT real hair, it's the synthetic type.

If it is the clip on type, you can wash it and it will take out most of the shine. Or you could break the pieces down into smaller pieces and then you could mix it in with your hair to give it that streaky-shine look, as if they were highlights, instead of the false hair look.

If your hair is blonde, you can put a bit of baby powder on the artificial hair and comb through. That will take down the shine some. You can use a bit of baby powder even if it is not blonde. You will get the same effect.
