Potty Training Help!?

I just started potty training my daughter yesterday and she has done suprisenly well. She is 15 months and has "tinkled" twice. However, the only time I can get her to "go" is right after she wakes up from sleeping. Durring the day she will take me to the potty with her, sit down, and wipe, but she won't "go." Then, after I put her diaper back on, she then "goes."

Does anyone have any tips to kick start sucessful potty training? Thanks!

Update:

Please don't tell me she is too young. According to my doctor, she is showing signs that she is ready. My doctor said potty training is not indicated on a calandar, but when the child is ready.

I gave my daughter a few M&M's everytime she was successful. I also made a point to clap and say "YEAH!!!" and tell the whole family. We always had a big celebration. It really seemed to help. Good luck!

15 months is a little early for a child to be fully potty trained. It's great she's used it and likes to pretend, it show interest. Just let her do her own thing. Put things she likes to look at like books or magazines in the bathroom, but don't put to much pressure on her or it can have a negative result. Good luck!

Let her wear big girl pants or something like that to wet herself and feel what it's like to pee so she can associate the two together. She probably only pees after nap cause she has to go and you caught her at the right time. She needs to learn the feeling near her belly and the feeling in her panties to figure out they go together. She is a bit young so most of the work is on you right now, but if she is going for it keep it up.

I started potty training my son at 12 months, till now he does great. he is also 15 months. what i do is after he eats i take him to the toilet and tell him 'make caca' and if he doesn't then i try later, when he uses it in his diaper, i show it to from a distance and tell him 'look caca' or if he is pushing once i notice it i run him to the restroom yelling caca caca run, and he runs, now every tim he has to go he picks up his shirt and runs. Then when she does use the rr make a big deal of it.
