No - it is no longer the land of opportunities and dreams. Jobs are being moved to Asia. Wages are being driven down by the illegal immigrants. Housing is going under - there are too many houses in fore-closure and very hard to get loans from the banks.

Yes they say they still welcome legal immigrants - but once you are there - the reality is as stated above.

You would be better off going elsewhere, or staying at home.

for a lot of people, yes . there are many people who dream about living in america , and who think that is the only place where u produce some money . My opinion is a little different. I think that Europe has a lot of things to offer so we can just think about what we need. Every continent have his opportunities, and evey place could be the best place where someone starts a business or other things.

you have an exceptionally undesirable view of the job industry. definite, 50 years in the past some production unit jobs have been paying a appropriate salary, yet that replaced into purely because of the fact of a shortage of workers (as a results of conflict). for some hundred years earlier, production unit artwork paid very poorly, advantages have been crappy (in the event that they even existed)and the working circumstances have been only undesirable and unsafe. As has constantly been the way in u.s., in case you have a means, are keen to place some attempt in making your self a valued worker and could put in an truthful day's artwork, you've each and every possibility to do nicely. Land of possibility does not propose a guy without adventure and/or practise can get a job and make as much as somebody who has the practise and adventure. definite, much less costly products are incredibly worth it, the actual blame for jobs going foreign places is user-friendly, while expenditures make the value of a product too severe to make a income, then companies will pass. not something is erroneous with that, it incredibly is the way business enterprise has been performed considering that time began. i think of which you're in a fashion insulting the american worker by utilising asserting asserting his destiny is flipping burgers. there'll constantly be a want for a knowledgeable artwork stress, that's how we can shop our financial gadget solid.

Yes it is, unfortunately too many wait way too long to realize this.

Many young men & woman have no direction, they play computer games and wonder what their life would be like if they were ficticious. Or write blogs on Yahoo all night!!

America offers a vast number of opportunities, but you close your own doors when you use drugs, get DUI's, commit a felony, etc. Don't go down the wrong path and blame an unjust world or society.

Do you want to be a scientist? Engineer, Doctor, Lawyer? Astronaut??

Decide and take your first step, set your goals and do it.

Don't let someone say it'll never happen. Trust in yourself.

If you mean the USA, forget it, bubbles.

This country has more propaganda than the comunists. Only people who succeed have publicity.

The ones who don't, nobody ever mentions them

    To Ms. L. A. :

I am a citizen, I am honest, I am a hard worker, and I am unemployed. I have been for the last six months.

To pay the rent and eat I had to request food stamps and loans from my friends ( lucky me that I have such good friends )

I am graduated from two Universities, speak three languages. So what ? Nobody cares

    Anything to say now ?

Yes provided you respect their laws and willing to work hard. Wonderful friendly environment, a lot of opportunities in many fields and even if the luck is not with you, you will still have comfortable living.

Not for much longer. Any good job requires extensive education. Which will soon be too expensive for many people. Many recent graduates finish and find themselves buried by debt for years. Only people living the dreams are politicians with there huge pensions, 2.5 months of vacation and 6 figure salaries. ******* crooks.

It is a land of opportunities, but its not the same way it was before. There is less hope here. People are killing each other in malls, killing themselves, the death rate here is so much earlier than other countries.

WHY AMERICA IS STILL THE LAND OF OPPORTUNITIES

In America, more so than any other country, you are not destined to live or die in the same economic and social class that you were born into. There are no guarantees; just fewer socially imposed limitations.

Feel free to come to America legally, just be cautioned, the American dream has been dead for many years now. You can thank illegals for helping with that.
