This country can get through anything. It's the greatest civilization in the history of the world. We always find a way to march forward.

Well, it would certainly survive. The lack of skilled immigrants would be a loss, although they could make up for it by giving Americans better education; as for the unskilled ones, they'd just have to pay better for unskilled work and put up with less docile employees- some things might get a bit more expensive but it wouldn't be the end of the world.

Absolutely. Americans dont need the illegal immigrants here to do the hard labor. We are a country of excess, and the illegals only do the work that the legal Americans and immigrants dont want to do. We could do this but we choose to pick the undocumented to do the cheap labor. We could survive with no problem, it would just mean that more people would have to do more of their own unpleasant work!

Of course. We have a surplus of skilled and unskilled workers. Mexico is doing us no favors. I'd like to see illegal immigrants branded on the face with a gigantic "I" then sent back to where ever they came from. We don't need them. ok matt
