Which SUV should I buy or lease?

I'm looking into a mid-size SUV. I've driven the Ford Explorer, Chevy Trail Blazer and the Honda Pilot so far. I liked the Ford Explorer the best. It seemed a little more stlylish and the Microsoft Sync was really cool. The Chevy seemed a cheap and smaller. The Honda, which I own 2 right now and love, didn't do it for me at all.

I have also been thinking about gas mileage. What do you think of the Ford Escape? I haven't driven one yet, they look a little small. I'd like to have seating for 7, which the Escape doesn't have, but I don't NEED seating for 7.

I'm not sure if I to buy or lease. I know I can get a lower monthly payment by leasing. Getting a new car every 2 or 3 years is pretty nice as well. I'm not really worried about owning a car as an investment, because it's not a big one.

I'm open to suggestions of what I should test drive as well.

THE HONDA PILOT WOULD BE YOUR BEST BET IN THE LONG RUN AND FORGET ABOUT LEASING.

WHEN YOU LEASE A VEHICLE YOU WILL GET HAMMERED BY THE DEALER AT THE END FOR MILEAGE, WEAR AND TEAR, LACK OF MAINTENANCE IF REQUIRED AND JUST ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE THAT THEY CAN THINK.

I WOULD SAY THAT 85% OF PEOPLE THAT LEASE VEHICLES WILL TELL YOU THAT THEY WILL NEVER DO THIS AGAIN.

If you lease you should get a Toyota as they have highest residual % giving you lowest payment due to resale and its reliability. Ford, and Chevy would cost alot more to lease since they have poor resale. For instance, a Ford explorer that cost 30,000 and lease for 41% residual for 48 months , you can lease a $-Runner for 58% residual for same making payment 17% less. or you can buy 35,000 Toyota for same lease price. FORD is junk. honda is good but not as good as Toyota in any catagory as per JD powers and Consumers Reports. Also you can probably get better % rate financing with less down. Escape is junk. get a Rav or Highlander. Highlander comes in Hybrid which gets 38 on highway and 42 in city. NO OTHER TRUE HYBRIDS EXSIST EXCEPT TOYOTA due to part that they have right to.

nicely, from what i constantly been instructed from my mom and father and different kinfolk, that in case you hire, you do no longer very own the motor vehicle, style of like renting (like money being flushed down the drain) yet, I even have additionally heard that in case you do hire you are able to improve your motor vehicle each 365 days to a greater recent sort. i assume it is only a private determination. ichronic an suv and would under no circumstances even think of of leasing, only for the reality that i do unlike dropping money as quickly as I can easily very own something.

Buy a 2WD minivan. Unless you're going to do one of the 2 things SUVs were designed to do, tow or go offroad, you don't need one.
