How do I say thank you on line for a thumbs up and especially those who think it may be their best answer?

Thank you Dune; but I am no wiser now than I was before my question. I am naive in some ways. But, I must admit I did buy Frank Hebert's books from day one - all of them - Dune. The planet Arakis etc etc. The first film I bought & still love it. I wanted to & I tried but the series of books on the Lord of the Rings just didn't make my cut - but I do have friends that do everything but worship the ring. I guess I started out too long ago with Ray Bradbury. I got hooked on Star Strek from the first show and have them all on DVD's now -

Gifts from my sons who found out I went to a convention in Toronto & left as soon as I met a man you had his ears surgically altered to look like Spock. Nimoy didn't even consider doing that. Well now, I do enjoy science fiction & have done since the late 40's no one I new was interested. That's OK. Thank you, Dune.

new - I meant knew. Think of it, without Dune where would Patrick Stewart be now? He's a great actor and I've seen him in much of his work especially the first time I saw him in " I Claudius". But he is the New Generation. Then again, there is another generation coming............
