Why do girls with Yahoo 360 profiles have fake photos?

they don't want to show how they really look like because they feel affraid of doing it or either they don't like they way they look like cause they assume guys will get scared and run away just because of their looks.

It has been my experience that most people have real photos unless they use their Yahoo Avatar. I would expect that many women (and men) do for privacy reasons. Many people want to be able to speak out about themselves in an honest way but may not feel comfortable putting a personal picture with their profile. I'm sure there are some that do it for fun or gain of some sort, though, I think they are the minority. There are many NORMAL women out there! lol

well considering it says that she's 24 and has no other likes than watching Raven, Hannah Montana, Scooby Doo and stuff like that...I'd say it's a fake. Also, I doubt very seriously a 24 year old in her right mind would write to a guy and say all she wants for christmas is a boyfriend. Sounds suspicious. It's either a) a younger girl who wants to act older to get more attention or b) a psycho internet predator maybe we'll see this one on dateline :) LoL

This is the internet. Your going to come across alot of fake pics on here. To some people it's just fantasy and fun. Some women feel insecure about themselves so they choose to pick someone else's photo as theirs. Other women just dont want to put there identity out there for others to view. Stay away from the wierd acting females. Obviously something else is going on in that head of theirs.

Yes, I agree. We women are uncomfortable with the way we look in real life and we escape real life by going online.

Typically, we girls are insecure, but it's not only girls who do it, mind you. We do want guys to love us for our personality, thus it should not care what we look like.

i only share my ugly dial on my messenger when talking to my friends never saw the point in scaring people off before they got to know me lol... seriously .. i dont know why some use fake pics,,personally i have a hard enough time being me without trying to pretend to be someone i am not... hmmm what is normal?? your welcome to go thru my photos any time xxxxx

Because they're uncomfortable with themselves, or they want to make an online 'character' to act and get away from real life with.

Your question should be "Why do SOME...." since not all of us use fake photos...I never have, and I never will.

Don't make blanket statements as they are almost always going to be wrong.
