Just watch out for choking hazards, anything hard...no candy, cut grapes into small pieces, no nuts, no popcorn (it's a big choking hazard), cut hot dogs...stuff like that.

You may also want to wait to give her shellfish since that's a fairly common allergen.

Hot dogs can pose a choking hazard. Peanuts and peanut can be dangerous. If you nursed and ate peanut butter allergies to peanut butter are less likely. Anything that is hard (candy, certain crackers/chips, etc.) that your baby can not chew well can pose as a choking hazard.

Any kind of nut, it's just too hard even if they have a full mouth of teeth. Now for peanut butter I was giving it to my daughter before a year and she didn't have any problems. And things like laffy taffy, fruit rollups, things that are very chewy. Maybe really spicy things

Just be careful with anything that people in your family have allergies to, your baby could potentially have them too, other than that some peds recommend waiting until 2 to give honey and peanut butter now.

I would say grapes but its okay if you cut them in fours and also take the skin off. My 13 month cousin had an experience with gagging because of the skin.

They told us at WIC that kids should not have hot dogs or nuts till they are 2 years old. We stuck to that. They also said no raisins till 2, but we deviated from that with no ill effects. Just be careful.

its ok to feed her softer food that we eat like mashed potatoes and stuff like that but be careful with meats and strong acidic stuff because her immune and digestive system isn't as strong as a grown man or women leaving her a lot more voulnerable to simple sicknesses caused by food.

Watch small hard things as choking hazards, like grapes or steak. Cut grapes in half for her and she can still have them.

They say children under 2 shouldn't eat peanuts/peanut butter just because if they are allergic at that age it could be deadly.

hotdogs are safe just cut them in half length-ways, we also take the skin off the hot dog because our daughter doesn't like it
