Well, I checked out his academic background and he has earned the right to be heard, a grant from the Royal Society isn't bad. I'll check it out a bit later.
ICR is the Institute for Creation Research, which does have zero cred. Too bad he is involved with them.

I don't know who this man is, other than a professor. I will not discredit him. I have done no research into his credentials. Here are my thoughts on this video. Creationist frequently discredit evolution by calling it only a theory. In doing this, they distort the meaning of "scientific theory" but that is beside the point. What I saw in the video was a man with a "theory". What you and the Amazing Discoveries folks have done, is pick which "theory" you choose to believe. But that is what religion is about, is it not? I am not trying to be nasty, this is how it, in reality, appears to me. I choose to believe what the vast majority of scientist believe on the issue. I understand what "scientific theory" means and is and I trust that with the overwhelming scientific record and study that has gone into it that the theory of evolution holds water. And it does not threaten my faith to believe in evolution. Science is not out to destroy religion. Science does what science does. The answers are what they are. If the answer upsets someones belief system, so be it. AND, somewhere down the road, the scientist discover, every now and then, that what they thought was wrong. But they get better, not worse all of the time.

Well I appreciate skeptics who really does go read up both sides of the argument rather than bombarding cynical comments about other's intelligence without even bothering to look into what they support.
