Anyone had problems since the last console update?
Ever since microsoft released the latest console update which I think was on monday and contained the new look dashboard and the new down loadable films and games I have been having trouble signing in. When the console starts up it auto signs in to xbox live and I get the signed in message but im left on the dashboard looking at the signing in logo (360 standing on end with the ring of dots around it that light up in turn). When this happens, which isn't every time it stays for ages on some occasions and evenetually the dashboard appears as normal. Ths problem also happens if I exit a game and drop to dashboard.
Im keeping everything crossed as my 360 is nearly 1 year old now and hoping that I dont end up in the 33% club
Also does anyone know if the Live connection times out if you are not playing online? Im playing through Halo 3 Campaign at the moment on my own and my Live connection after some time disconnects.
Im starting to loose faith in Microsoft, I love the 360 but not sure I can be bothered restarting the console every time something don't work properly (which is happeneing alot these days)
My old PS2 still works just as good as it did the day I bought it 6/7 years ago

yes, everythings slower, and now half my demo's wont work, and my oblivion game syas it sunreadable when there wasnt a problem untell the update, also im getting a red area i nthe lower-right of my power button(not the red ring though) and i neve rhad problems untill the update, the cons way outway the benifits(which is onl bio and viewing friends friends, now halo3 also laggs i nthe forge when it didnt before

Dude i had a problem with slow connection and dropping out, on a wired connection. Turned out that i was plugged into a dodgy telephone extension since i put it it the main one its been spot on.....!

my friend had a problem like this try you modem thats why his kept cutting out also check you setting on xbox to see if you router is open or closed you will notice that it will be your router do a test of your system that might explain your problem good luck

I've had problems trying to find anything in this new marketplace and my demos. I don't like it, I wish they would change it back...and whats the point of 'Inside Xbox' anyway. Its rubbish!
