What Number Should The Cubs New Outfielder Wear?

Cubs signed outfielder Fukudome. I think uniform sales will be phenomenal, especially if he's assigned the #69!

What number would you pick?

Update:

Or 77 (you get 8/ate more)

According to this website http://www.mlb4u.com/profile.php?id=1511), Fukudome wore #1 with the Chunichi Dragons. Don't think the Cubs have had someone wear #1 since Lance "One Dog" Johnson patrolled CF back in the late 90's?

Fukudome, who will wear uniform No. 1 for the Cubs, as he did for the Chunichi Dragons in Japan

I woudl go with #1 since he will be the #1 draw for the Cubs now; dragging in even more fans than they already get around the Country!

U in Japanese is always long. F is close to H in pronunciation, too. Cut it out, pricehillsaint. The Cards will slice and dice the Cubs. Don't pick on the Japanese!!!

He wore #17 in the World Baseball Classic, which currently belongs Mike Fontenot, but if he wants that number he'll probably get it
