Why would Hilary Clinton be a good president?
If Hillary is doing so well in the polls (which are completely made up if you ask me) why would she be a good president? Do her socialistic ideas apeal to the majority of Americans? What about her, other than being a democrat and a woman, would make you want to let her represent you to the world? I really am comfused on this topic so please explain and don't just give out stupid little two word no facts answers. I need some inteligent repsonces. If democrats are capable :) sorry had to throw that in there. :)

I think that the average person follows politics like I follow golf (I don't). Which means they know little to nothing about the candidates. they also know little to nothing about socialism. So Clinton's promises of free stuff just looks like free stuff....everybody loves free stuff! So free stuff, plus a husband that "everyone" loved equals high ratings for Hillary in the polls.

I believe she would be the lesser evil of our past leaders, now as far as if she would be a good president or not, only time can tell, that is if she actually does win the election, allot of these candidates talk a good game to win the hearts of many, therefore its just a mere competition between a bunch of politicians who are all corrupt in some way, all in all, we always find out the truth after its too late and we have to wait another four years to be able to do something about the problem as a whole nation, and Moe, i thought the asker only wanted intelligent questions, what are you doing on here?

It is a fair question. I think there are usually only 2 or 3 candidates in each election cycle who you can say with confidence would be great candidates and they don't usually make it out of the primaries.
Clinton is like the wannabe small buisness owner who's prosperous husband has given her his proven business plan. Will she follow the plan? Probably most of it. Will it work in her situation with her only implimenting parts of it? Hard to say.
She has some things in her advantage. The Clintons have a good relationship with China. China owns us financially thanks to the Bush Iraq war borrowing. If Clinton is elected, China is not going to join the rest of the world in stopping loaning us money to finance Iraq. In other words, we are pretty much not going to have a fiancial collapse.
She was smart to include National health care as a platform. If she wins the election, she can claim the election was a mandate for national health care and strong arm it through. That alone guarantees he at least a semi-favorable rating historically.
Bill is widely regarded as one of the smartest presidents of all time. He was an advocate of balanced budgeting. He would be a tremendous resource to any president.
So those are 3 things that should at least make her a better president than Bush. (I know that is not saying much, but better is better.)

The polls are NOT made up. Also, Hillary would be one of the worst choices out of the current options as would every GOP "front runner".
The polls called over 85% of the 06 elections before the outcome.

Hillary Clinton would be a President just like George W. Bush. If you like Bush vote for Hillary.

If you're asking me why Hillary Clinton is preferable to any other candidate, I'm afraid I don't have an answer for you.

That's a good question and I can't think of one single reason why. I don't think she's even qualified enough to be a bad president.

"socialism will help anyone that makes less than 200k a year"
No it wouldn't. It hurts everyone that makes more than 200k a year.
That includes BUSINESSES which means they lay off people, so all those 100K people are now making NOTHING.
