Painting for my mother?
My mother asked me to paint a picture for the living room. it's a peachy beige color and I have NO idea what to do. her only interest is darts, but I don't think that would make a very nice picture and I'm sure my dad will fall over if anything else dart related goes into the house.
I'm a cartoonist by nature but I'm classically trained, I just don't know where to start. I'll probably work in Gouache on water color paper... Any ideas?
She likes CSI maybe I should do a scene from that (lol lame)

Paint a King fisher ( the bird) diving into the water. Tell your dad it's a wildlife study. Tell your mom that the King fisher is sometimes called "God's dart" because it dives out of flight, right under water to catch fish.
