  • How do I get OneNote as a print option?

I use MS Office 2010. I want to start using MS OneNote. I can't seem to get anything to save to it. All the on line information I've found says to go to the "print" command, then select OneNote instead of your default printer. I can't get OneNote to show up as an option. How to I set it up?

  • Will this need to be inspected?

I live in Massachusetts. I just bought a house and I want to move the 220 plug for my kitchen range. If I do it myself (YES I know ho to do it safely!), will I need to get an inspector to check it?

  • questions about Wii Fit?

I want to get a wii fit. Do I have to buy the wii system first and then get wii fit add-ons, or is the wii fit a whole system of its own? [I do not currently own a wii system]

Also, I know there are lots of accessories you can get for wii fit. What are your favorites?

    Thanks!

  • How long does it take to get a closing date?

Hi! My hubby and I are trying to buy a house; we're in Massachusetts. The bank and we agreed on a price last Wednesday. Roughly how long before we get a closing date set? I'm not too worried, I'm just REALLY impatient.

  • has this happened to your dishwasher?

I have an older dishwasher-Kenmore model#363 16569790. It won't drain. The wash cycle washes our dishes just fine, there's no puddles on the floor, but after a wash cycle, the bottom of the machine is full of water.

As far as I can tell, new water comes in during the wash cycle, there is nothing blocking the drain filters that I can see. Any suggestions on trouble shooting? Should I call Sears? A plumber?

  • How do I tell a prospective employer about an allergy?

I have a deadly peanut allergy. I recently had a full-blown reaction because someone near me was eating peanut butter. I'm currently looking for a new job. Does anyone have any experince telling employers that they need to be in an allergen-free environment? Should I mention it in the interview?

    Thanks!

  • How do I keep my cat from eating my plants?

My cat is in the "I want to chew on everything" phase. He's been eating my houseplants. They aren't toxic, but they aren't healthy for him either. Growing "distraction" plants that are safe for him like wheat grass, hasn't worked. Is there a home made or commercially available product that will deter him?

  • What do I say when I resign?

I work in an over staffed office. There is literally nothing for me to do-I have to come up with ways to make myself look busy. Maybe it's a dream job for some, but I decided I'd better look for another position before I get the axe!

My question is, should I tell my employer that this is the reason I'm leaving? I was thinking I would just say I need more flexibility in my working hours, since I am going back to college (which is 100% true); I'm afraid if I say I'm underutilized it will make my last 2 weeks really uncomfortable for everyone. Basically, I'd be telling my supervisor she's a lousy office manager, right?

    Any advice?

  • Knitters: Which kind of sock is easiest to start with?

I'm a practiced knitter, and I want to try my first socks. I have noticed that there are 2 kinds of patterns: the kind that start at the toe and the kind that start at the cuff.

Anyone care to weigh in on which is easier to knit/more comfortable/better wearing?

    Thanks!

  • Hearing impaired YA! members: Digital Voice Phenomena on hearing aids?

My husband has digital hearing aids. Sometimes he gets weird background noise...NOT the same kind as when he needs to recalibrate. Has anyone out there ever gotten DVP on thier hearing aids? We just moved to an old house, so there's a possibility of "someone" sharing the space.

  • What's a good ground cover for a steep hill?

I just moved into a house with a very steep hill in the back yard. Rather than risk cutting off my feet with a lawnmower trying to keep it trimmed, I'd like to replace the grass with a no-mowing-needed ground cover?

I'm in central New England, so I need something hardy. Also, it's near a swimming pool, so something bare-foot freindly would be best (juniper is right out!)Any suggestions would be great!

  • Does anyone have a recipe for Armenian lentil balls?

I bought these killer Armenian lentil balls at a local health food store. I'd love to make my own. They were made with yellow lentils and bulgar wheat- but I can't figure out what the spices are.

Can anyone bother their grandmother for the family recipe? :-D

  • How long until my step-dog listens to me?

I just got married. My hubby's dog, 9 y/o, is really smart and willful. He does whatever hubby says, but doesn't really listen to me. I'm sure he thinks I'm taking his place in the pack-which, I suppose I am. My husband has alwasy been very consistant with the dog regarding behavior control, and I take my cues from him. About how long should it will take for the dog to accept me as another master? Anyone have any tips that might make the dog react better towards me?

    Thanks!

  • Wedding jewelery ok?

My wedding ring is rather wide, so I plan to wear my engagement ring on my right hand and my wedding band on my left after I get married. Is it uncouth to wear the engagement ring on my right hand DURING the wedding?

    Thanks!

  • So Romney's out of the race....?

What do you all think will happen to Huckabee? He hasn't got nearly enough delegates to take the nomination from McCain, but he's also stated that he won't give up.

I think Huck will step down before the primarys are over, but he'll run again in 2012.

    What's YOUR prediction?

  • turtle/tortoise moving logistical issues, help!?

My fiancee and I are going to move soon. He has a reticulated desert tortoise in a dry tank with gravel, and a snapping turtle in a tank 1/2 full of water, 1/2 full of rocks

It's mid winter in New England. What's the safest, least stressful (for the critters) way to move my step-reptiles?

    Thanks!

  • Wedding day snack ideas?

On my Big Day, I have a feeling there will be no time for breakfast. So, I plan to keep some snacks in my handbag for me and my man, so we'll have something to eat between the ceremony and the reception.

I'm thinking un-salted nuts and maybe dried apples would be good to have. Anyone have other suggestions for foods that are packable, non-staining, and non-tooth sticking? (I'll bring floss, just in case)

  • Can a Scottish vegitarian help me?

This isn't a food question, sorry, but this seemed the best place to ask. Where can I get a good quality sporran made of non-animal materials? All the ones I see on line are made from dead furry friends!

Preferably, I'd like a web site, as I'm in the U.S.

    Thanks!
