Wedding day snack ideas?
On my Big Day, I have a feeling there will be no time for breakfast. So, I plan to keep some snacks in my handbag for me and my man, so we'll have something to eat between the ceremony and the reception.
I'm thinking un-salted nuts and maybe dried apples would be good to have. Anyone have other suggestions for foods that are packable, non-staining, and non-tooth sticking? (I'll bring floss, just in case)

You should definitely eat something that morning. You don't' want to get nauseous.
But you can pack crackers or nuts. Don't forget to bring mints or gum to freshen your breath.

You should really eat something in the morning. Have you or your family put out some bagels or croissants. I suggest eating a big breakfast in the morning or you'll regret it later.
As for snacks pack something like those 100 calorie packs or nuts or dried fruit. Even better would be a protein bar.

You can find time to eat at least a few bites in the morning. I would recommend a BIG breakfast to tie you over. Most brides don't get to eat during the reception.
I also recommend that you pack yourself (or ask a friend or family member) a nice little snack / dinner to be left in your hotel room. I usually prepare a cheese/crackers/sparkling wine basket for the couple as part of their wedding gift. My cousin thanked me profusely because they were starving by the time they got to the room... and room service was closed. She said the snacks tied them over until the next morning.

Protein sticks with you much longer than carbohydrates, so think protein foods (I also agree that you should take a few minutes in the morning to be sure you eat a nutritious breakfast--it will keep your stamina up all day). Things like jerky, nuts, peanut butter, cheese, boiled eggs, protein bars or shakes, lunch meat, yogurt, will all keep you going longer than things like crackers, 100-calorie packs, fruit or candy.

Please don't skip breakfast because you'll have very little time to eat the rest of the day. Between nerves and champagne toasts and just exhaustion, that's the reason many brides faint. Have some orange juice and yogurt as soon as you get up, then have a banana while you're getting your hair done. During the photos, have some cheeze and crackers handy along with lip gloss , and breath spray - have your maid of honor in charge of carrying this little treat box plus bottles of water.

Bring some Slim Jims for your hubby. He will love you for it!
Get the mild flavor. Maybe some slimfast shakes to drink for breakfast you can partially freeze them in the can if you want to carry them in the car. And bring some water in small bottles. Bring some Apple Jacks cereal in small baggies for the kids in the wedding party, too.
Have a great wedding!

I am addicted to the Ritz Snack Mix 100 Calorie packs. I think those would be good. Any type of trail mix would work really. Also, NutriGrain bars are good for a quick pick-me-up.

First off, eat something for breakfast, even if it's only a cold bagel with cream cheese. You NEED to eat something on your wedding day. Now for snacks, any dried fruit, yogurt, veggies, string cheese, pretzels, jerkey, hard boiled egg.

Any of the 100 calorie packs would be good, they are all pre-packaged, easy to carry and taste good.
Good idea, I hadn't thought of this.

protein bars. They are a good meal replacement and they won't bloat you for your dress!
