if you have been on bedrest.....?

I am 39 weeks and have been put on bed rest due to raised blood pressure, swollen hands/feet/legs and pain in my pelvis/groin.

I have been on bedrest since week 25, I am currently on week 27 and 5 days. I was having contractions. at first they thought they were caused by a bladder infection, which I had no symptoms of but is common during pregnancy. But after 2 medications the infection is gone but the contractions are not. My cervix is not dilating or softening but they are unsure if it could be the start to preterm labor or if I just have an irratable uterus. So I will be on bed rest for the remainder of my pregnancy. I am allowed to shower and make myself a quick meal while home alone. other than that I am only allowed the privlage of going to the bathroom. I am on terbutaline to help with the contractions but all it really does is make you feel awful. It will be long few months but I want to do what is best for my baby boy.

PQ: No I surely have in no way been on bedrest. i surely worked up util the night until eventually now with Tyler (the previous night 5pm-ish i became instructed i became going to be brought about day after right this moment at 6:00 am). With Riley i became making waiting for paintings & the Steeler game for later that night when I went into hard paintings. i will have a possibility at bedrest with # 3 (when I get preggo) for the reason that i will have a cerclage. relies upon if the cerclage enables me from dialating early. ETA: Awe!! we could get Nina a computing device, STAT!! we can't pass without her for 8+ weeks!

I was put on bedrest because I started spotting at 6 weeks 4 days, the Doctor said threatened miscarriage. I spotted for 2 weeks, and finally have another appointment Monday, so I hope she takes me off of it, it sucks!!

I was put on bedrest for the last 2 weeks because of preclampsia with my first pregnancy and I was also on bedrest for my 3rd pregnancy (briefly) for unexplained bleeding. I just hope I dont have to with this one!

I was put on bedrest for pre term labour, which started at 28 weeks for all three of my girls.

I am in the hospital right now and have been for more than 2 weeks now due to a shortening cervix, I am 27 weeks with twin girls.

I dilated to 3 cm at 33 weeks the first time, the second was due to high blood pressure, they did it to keep me from getting preeclampsia.

I was on bed rest for preeclampsia for about a week before I was term. As soon as I was 37 weeks, I was induced.
