Dry/Dead Skin On Feet...?

The heels of me feet are horrendous, extremely rough and white. I've tried using pumus stone, lotions, etc to improve them, but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

Update:

Again, I have already tried scrubbing my feet, pedicures, lotions, and so forth. None of the normal treatments have made any difference.

What I do sometimes is scrub my feet during a shower or bath. Dry them thoroughly, especially between the toes. Then rub vaseline on them and put on white cotton socks and sleep in them. Its a little uncomfortable, but the next morning, my feet are so soft. Depending on how bad the skin is, you may have to do this for several nights. Or at least do it once a week. It may take some time, but its well worth it! and it's better than scratching yourself bloody or tearing the bedsheets with rough feet!

First, I'd get a good pedicure to start fresh. Each day after you shower, rub your feet very well to keep the dead skin from forming. At night, put a very thick layer of lotion or cream and cover your feet in cotton socks to sleep. I like the Burt's Bees coconut foot cream. I hope this helps!

After a shower use a foot scrubber to remove the dead skin. Then apply a thick cream/lotion or vaseline and then put on a pair of thick cotton socks. Do this for a couple of nights and you should notice a difference on your feet. Hope this helps.

When you have a bath or shower, use FCUK sugar scrub on your feet.

Afterwards, use a dead-skin-scrubber and rub on the back of your feet, the heels especially and the edge of the toes.

Then, use a quality mouisteriser, and rub in well.

Do this process every couple of days.

Try increasing the iodine in your diet. I had this problem for years and found out that it was an iodine deficiency. Purchase some kelp from a health food store and take according to package instructions. If this doesn't help in a few days, pursue another avenue.

    Hope

Mix Two teaspoons of glycerin along with a teaspoon of rose water, apply the mixture on your feet at the time of going to bed, leave it overnight and wash in the morning, you will see the difference in three days.

i think it would be better if you try the natural one..my folks back then used to soak their feet in mild hot water with salt.

salt is a good cleanser..and water is good to our skin which prevents dehydration..you must also apply everyday a lotion for your feet..

it really works if you just make it in your routine..
