2008 Presidential Election Candidates?!?
SERIOUS ANSWERS OR ELSE!
I have a pretty good idea about the Democrats and Republicans, but what about the third parties?
So...I would like the top two candidates for each of the following parties:
Green, Independent, Constitution, Libertarian, Peace
Furthermore, I want their websites and the sources where you found out the candidates top ranking (to prevent against random namings).
PLEASE AND THANK YOU?!?!?! :D
TOP TWO CANDIDATES! NOT JUST A LIST! Anyways, I suggest you don't use Wikipedia, as the information is unreliable...
Oh, and could you list their campaign sites? I've actually looked at some of the candidates you've listed, and they don't have campaign sites...

Congressman Ron Paul is the leading advocate for freedom in our nation’s capital. As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Dr. Paul tirelessly works for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. He is known among his congressional colleagues and his constituents for his consistent voting record. Dr. Paul never votes for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution. In the words of former Treasury Secretary William Simon, Dr. Paul is the “one exception to the Gang of 535” on Capitol Hill.

Again, most of these parties seem to be so minor that not a lot of internal polling has been done. They'll all be holding conventions at roughly the same times as the major parties, so you'll be able to check back then and find out.

Well i think the first person answered that pretty good, a couple weeks ago I was wondering the same thing and started reading into many of these candidates and was really disappointed, a lot of nut jobs. I couldn't really find anyone that I could really support. Maybe I'll support this guy of the Vampire Witches and Pagan Party (Just kidding!) http://www.columbiachronicle.com/paper/arts.php?id...

Third parties simply have no place in modern American politics. Maybe if we had fractional representation....if a candidate receives 5% of the vote he/she gets a seat in the House of Representatives that might work. Realistically, that isn't going to happen. We're stuck with the system we have.
