Its better to raise your own people by mass reproduction, meaning that the remaining survivors are forced to reproduce to create a population for the new civilization. Then develop a caste system. The scientist caste gain the most respect, for they are the main people who will rebuild the new civilization by regaining knowledge.

At that time probably their might be different tribes around who do not accept friendship and so a warrior caste is important as well.

As soon as your tribe conquers enough land, we utilize the land for some resources, like water, foods and metals and others for development.

Then build a wall surrounding the village by the worker caste. Then wait for many generations until technology and science has been regained, and population increases, we make a huge campaign to reconquer the entire world and repopulate it with people. And then their will be peace and prosperity.

Mmm what a quandry!

Well I think I would establish a base camp in the Scottish mountains with my loyal band of land warriors protecting the perimeter . A crack team of warriors would be my scouts and they would track the land for supplies, food etc.

Once we had enough supplies we would build a small city called the Kingdom of the Apocolypse where we would re-start the population and democracy would rule.

All newcomers who proved themselves loyal to the kingdom would be permitted to join our city but the punishment for treason would be severe.

Why would you want to survive the bands of bandits, mutants and dangerous creatures that roam the deserted wastelands of the new world. Surviving that would be depressing!

i'm fairly sure i wouldn't want the job, and i wouldn't attempt to impose order. if the planet's fionally gone to hell in a handcart, let it stay that way. i'd head south somehow to get to somewhere warm, possibly a greek island that could be defended, lay in supplies of food, and booze, keep your head down. reasonable plan?

I would join the penguins and serve them in their plot to take over the world.

I'd relinquish rule to someone else and set out on my own, I'm too independent and a loner by nature......
