To married men : if your wife gave you her wedding ring this Christmas?
What would you think and how would it make you feel considering that your marriage is on the rocks, if not already dying?
Pure_evi : there's still time. LOL!
Hey guys, this is just theoretical okay? I know it's a mean thing to do on Christmas but I heard a lady at the mall today say it. It stuck, it sounds like an evil idea. LOL!

I know your question was for Men, But, I think that Christmas isn't a good idea. It's Very Cold. Unless he's an abusive person, I'd say wait until after Christmas. Maybe New Years's Eve? He should know what it Means when you give him Your Wedding Rings Back. But you may want to verbally mention "It's Over". Then you can Start the New Year off knowing that you are heading down a path of "New Beginnings". Good Luck !

No idea, never been in that kind of a situation.
My advise would be to keep the ring even if things don't work out. My sister did, and had it turned into a pendant for her daughter. When my neice turns 16, she will get it. The marraige might be over, but it doesn't mean it didn't mean anything for you or others.

Well, I am deeply in love with my wife. If she did that to me I would be crushed. To me there is only one way to take something like that. It's over. And to do it on Christmas.... not cool at all. There is a better time and place to talk to him about the marriage.

I'd be crushed, and then i'd be looking for a new wife just like that, hoping to have someone to replace the current one before she's gone. Gotta move on and keep it going.

That my marrage is over and she found the perfect way to ruin my Christmas.
Then again, if it was my ex. I'd hock the ring and head to the bordello for some real sex for the first time in years. whoopee!!!!!!!

That would be a pretty horrible gift. Are you thinking you're doing him a favor. Really you're telling him you don't want him around anymore, ever. You're telling him he has failed as a husband, and you're telling him he doesn't matter enough to you that you could do this in a civil manner. I think it would be a disgusting display.

I would think she was a unthoughtful person and probably think I was better off without her. Theres more appropriate times to end relationships. Sounds like a dirty trick to me thats intended to destroy ones feelings.

That would hurt.
It could've been worse though. At least she didn't pawn it and buy something stupid.
Maybe she's just having you hold it for the future. Perhaps one day you two will be together again.

I would take it as, it have been great but now its too late. here is your ring and she is gone to find a new fling. Just let her go because she won't be here any more.
