What are some ways to treat migraine headaches?

It sure doesn't work for my migraines. I use a triptan drug, Amerge and fiorinal. I also get acupuncture and take magnesium. There is an herbal product called "Petadolux" that can work for some people. Biofeedback can work for some people.

Nothing works well for me. Excedrin Migraine dulls the pain if taken at the first sign. I sometimes see spots, feel dullness, or get a mild throb in half my head (usually temple), before a full-blown migraine occurs. It helps a little to put a warm compress on your head or sit in a hot bath.

Yes sometimes, but I find that Excedrin Migraine and sleep, or at least a dark room. If it’s excessively painful, then I have also use a cold compress over the eyes... Hope this helped

Regular Excedrin is the same formula as Excedrin Migraine - just the package is different. And generic Excedrin is the same as the name brand. So don't spend you money on Excedrin Migraine, just get some generic Excedrin instead

I agree go with Excedrine Migraine, I have been dealing with them my whole like, and that seems so far to be the best over the counter solution.

i get some stuff from my doctor called imatrex it works in 15mins or less and comes in pill form and also injexection form for the migrains that make you throw up every second and cant keep a pill down

Rub bananas on your head and roll around in a tub of honey! tha always works for my migraines!

Exedrin migrane works pretty good lay down in adark quiet room with a cold wet rag over your forhead and in order to prevent them try to stay away from caffine drink caffine free coke instead of regular and chococlate also.

it depends on the strenght of the migraine and the medicine my mom takes imitrex (or something like that) i s=usualy just pass it out by sleeping it through or by playing videogame to change my mind if the ache isnt too bad.
