how about ' we had a record collapse at the end of the seson and missed the playoffs and we suck so we dont deserve a new stadium and dont come and watch us ' field

I think Citibank would be pretty angry. That name sounds bad. If we did not use a company to pay for naming rights, I would want it to be called "Shea Stadium."

It won't happen, Citibank already has too much invested in the new ballpark to even begin to think about that.
Seaver was the best pitcher they ever had in their 47 year history, but it just won't happen.

It should be called CHIPPER field, hes played better there then anyone else has!
