Children's' book on history..?
I have to make a children's book on a history topic. It is directed towards 3-7 year olds and I'm having trouble on what i should do it on. It can be on WWI, WWII, great depression, guilded age, 1920s, Span-American War, Progressive movement, and other US events during this time period. Im having trouble narrowing it down and figuring out which specific event i want to do it on and how im going to form a simple story for children. any help with me starting this would be very helpfull and appreciated.

I'd do WW II. You could write it about growing your own Victory Garden, call it something cute, like Carrots for Katie.
During the WW I and WW II there were many things not available. A quick, easy to understand run down about what kinds of things people couldn't get would lead right into the victory garden story. People did grow these gardens, and usually shared with friends, family and neighbors. It would make a cute children's story.

well it is easy to make a childrens book just break it down into simpler forms and use a simple character like Gary the soldier or like Adam the Governer or something like that
you should probably do it on something really big that happened during one of these events and use that because that is the easiest
Merry christmas and i hope this helps

try make it like a quest of a hero. example, MacArthur will fight the fire breathing dragon of the Japanese! somehow like that. try make it a fairy tale.
