Better QB Ben Roethlisberger or Michael Vick?

There's no question about it...Big Ben is the better QB by a long shot.

It isn't even a comparison. Its great Vick can run but he a quarterback. He needs an arm and he doesn't have one. He was the most overpaid and overrated player in the NFL. Roethlisberger is a great QB and already has a ring. Ben has learned what to do to make him even more of a threat. Vick never got any better - the only thing Vick could do was run

Roethlisberger. no question. Vick was never a great passer. Ben can not only throw, he can also run with it. Though he doesn't have Vick- like speed. The only thing that bothers me about Roethlisbeger is that he seems to be at his worst when he has to throw the ball over 30 times a game. When he only has to throw 20 passes a game he's great.

I'd take Big Ben in a heartbeat over Vick for an NFL, both had great potential but only one ever lived up to it. Big Ben will solidify Pitt's QB position for the next decade, Vick will always have been a "wait till next year" player.

In college, I'd take Vick, where playing against less skilled defensive players his athletic ability would allow him to make more impressive plays.

Ben, he is a QB, that can actually pass the ball....Vick is just the football version of Kobe Bryant since shaq left. Now that vick is locked up, maybe he could use some spare time to throw some soap around.

Ben Roethlisberger because he won a Super Bowl and has overall better stats than Michael Vick.

Uhhh niko, you put 9 categories that relate to football, and picked Vick in 5 of them... then you said Roethlisberger wins.

Uhh well I am a Falcons fan, but since Vick isn't a Falcon anymore, nor will he ever be, I would definitely say Roethlisberger. He is a much better passer than Vick. But one plus for Vick... He can throw 100 yards with his left hand and 70 with his right (he's lefty by the way). I'm right-handed, and I probably can't throw 10 yards with my left hand haha.

Just hypothetically speaking I would say Mike Vick. His ability to create plays outside the pocket and with his legs are unmatched. Although Rothlisberger is a better pocket passer his scrambling ability is nowhere near that of Vick. Now speaking off the field it's easy to say Ben, but let's not forget that Big Ben has made a few bone headed decisions himself.

Ben over Vick any day. Vick was a glorified running back with a decent arm and terrible decision making.
