The 'oinking' sound your dog is making can be quite common, especially in the smaller breeds. It isn't a reverse sneeze. It is caused by the flap of skin at the back of the throat. This bit of skin acts like a shut -off valve, when your dog swallows, the valve closes over the airway to stop anything going down the 'wrong way'. The noise she makes is more like a reverse cough, as sometimes this valve can stick a bit, your dog is sucking in air forcefully to open her airway properly. Don't worry to much about it unless she does it for longer than a minute or two. My dog also does this, usually after she eats or drinks.

Why do you put your dog outside alone? Obviously she is in a safe area with secure fencing.Try training her to retrieve, dogs love to play with their Mums or Dads and you could go out with her for just fifteen minutes. If you leave her outside on her own she will be bored Take her for walks, play in the garden or yard and amuse her. Perhaps her oinking is a cry for help, play with her and don't expect a puppy to like being out in the cold on her own.

What kind of dog. Is she a short haired dog? If so, they do not tolerate cold/hot temperatures very well. You should NEVER subject your dog to harsh weather as a punishment.
If you are concerned you should contact your Vet.
This sounds like it could be reverse sneezing which is not harmful.

It may be a reverse sneeze or asthma. I thought my dog had a reverse sneeze but it turned out he was asthmatic so you might want to rule out the possibility with a vet first.

It does sound like a reverse sneeze. My dachshund gets these episodes sometimes, and I just calm her by massaging her throat and telling her "shhhhhhh". It ends the episode fairly quickly.

When you're outside in the cold, you often get a runny nose & sniffles. Dogs are the same way.

How mean making her stay outside in the cold.
I don't know, hope she's stopped. Would take her to the vet if it doesn't stop by tomorrow

Call the vet. I might be an animal lover but I really don't know any other answer for this one.
