Visiting Atlanta for the 1st time?

You got to go to the Varsity, its Atlantas most famous eatery. You also gotta go to the World of Coke, and the Ga. aquarium, and the High Museum of Art. Stone Mountain, and of course 6 Flags. As far as hotels, I always recommend the Wingate Inn at 6 Flags. its 10 minutes from downtown, very reasonably priced, only 3 years old and right next door to the park, within walking distance. My wife worked there while she was in college.

-What is the best hotel to stay at?

If you don't have a budget.... the Marriot in Atlanta is very nice.

-What are some things to do (for little kids, teens & adults)

Go to the aquarium, world of coke, see a braves game, go to this one building that spins where you can have drinks (i don't remember the name) and drive around. Little Five POints is really cute!

Anything about the city will help...

Uh... It's a nice place. I strongly suggest that you DO NOT go to Underground Atlanta. It seems very dangerous there.

Check out Stone Mountain Park, The Georgia Aquarium(really neat), Six Flags, a sports event depending on the season.

You can stay out side of town and ride the Marta( bus and train) into town. Lots of museums.

Get lost on the 1000 roads that start with the word peachtree

Get stuck in some traffic

Stone mountain is great for everyone

Don't stay downtown. you will be disappointed. It is crazy at night.
