hmm i would say like a
darkish blue or like a reddish-ivory
kind of color.
by all means do NOT put blonde highlights
in black hair... and try to stay away from the thick
chunky highlights if ur going to do the reddish color,
go with thin lines all the way down for whatever
color u wind up using.
well hope i helped a lil lol
good luck!

Red, brown and blond are always your options. Regardless of what you pick, make sure the black you use compliments it. If you go blond, about the only color that will work is going to be platinum. Is that the look you are going for? If not you will look smokey or skunky. Skin and eye colors play apart as well. There's always a reddish brown...it can look quite natural and not show new growth near as bad.

Well whatever you do don't get blonde highlights cuz they dont look good with black.
Seriosly the colors that look good with black are red and brown, and if you don't wanna have the common look maybe you can try highlighting your hair differently, like just higlight the ends of your hair.

Ok
I have like black/dark brownish hair
One day I decided I wanted
to try like Blonde Carmel, and Brown highlights.
It looked good "THEN"
But now,you can see where my new
hair is starting to grow back....
(Like at the ends to middle,it's like LIGHT Brown hair
with blonde and stuff)
and at the top,at my roots it is pitch black
with some dark brown streaks in it
which is my natural hair.
I HATE them!
I wouldn't advise you to get blonde highlights...
Maybe a dark carmel color would look good in
your hair,or a lightish blackish brown
would really look good!
Hope I helped!!! - M i M i

Nothing really matches with black, anything you do will be a major contrast except brown or dark red. Go though magazines and find something you think will suit your skin tone. No one here know what your skin tone is and also your personal style...so good luck!

Sometimes black hair gets light red highlights so if you got red it would look natural and cute

i think brown would be nice maybe red or a dirty blonde but i think a very yellowish blonde is a little too "out there"
