Successful tubal ligation (aka tubes tied) has a 0.5% chance of getting pregnant after the procedure.
Usually, unsuccessful or regrown tubal ligations had the fallopain tubes cut and burned but left hanging so the tubes grew back together. To prevent this, most burning tubals also have a portion of the tube removed as well as tying the ends, to prevent regrowth.
It's always possible. My aunt had her tubal 7 years ago and she has a 5 year old son.

Tubes being decrease/tied supply up the eggs being fertilised using fact they do no longer seem to be embarked on a close by the place the sperm can fertilise them. If achieved properly there is the smallest, tiniest, miniscule risk of having the ability to get pregnant. maximum reported circumstances the place human beings have have been given pregnant are whilst the operation wasn't achieved suited or very infrequently the tubes have mended themselves. it quite is reversable in maximum circumstances nonetheless so once you attempt to concieve that should be an selection.

4 of my friends have had it done and there's no more babies so far! I've never heard of tubes coming undone etc, I think they cut them also but don't quote me on that! There's not the same risk of pregnancy with sterilisation that there is with a man having a vasectomy. It can take 5 months or so for a man to be completely sterile. Are you thinking of having it done? Good luck xxx

My Dad's girlfriend got pregnant a few years after she had her tubes tied. However, it caused it to be an ectopic pregnancy and it had to be terminated. So, yes you can get pregnant after your tubes are tied. The first answer is right, they are much more effective if the ends are cauterized. Good luck.

I have known two women to conceive after having their tubes tied. One was a tubal pregnancy, but the other actually developed into a healthy pregnancy. It is possible. You should talk to your doctor about the risks.

If your tubes weren't burnt jus tied then it is more likely for you to get pregnant.
However there has been cases where even with the tubes burnt women get pregnant.

You can consult a doctor, yes.
My mother had tied tubes at birth, she was born with an anomaly. After consulting a doctor in a fertility clinic, she is now a happy mother of 3.
If they were cut intentionaly, it also is reversible.

There is a certain failer rate. I know that even with burning, some women's bodies will atempt to "self heal".
Read the article attached. It gives many reasons for failer. It also tells which procedure is the least likely to fail.
