If you live close to the hospital, I would say just wait it out and see if things get better, or worse, or change at all. If they get worse, go get checked out. It couldn't hurt anything. If nothing changes, I would still probably go see the dr tomorrow. If you live far away from the hospital, just use your best judgment and follow your instincts. It does sound like you are going into labor. Maybe what the doctor did during the exam actually caused the labor to start.

i'd go in and get checked out i'm almost 100% you are in labor if not right now you will be soon as in like a few hours. this being your 4th i wouldn't mess around and wait too long.
