Splinter removal?
I have to most stubborn splinter(I think its wood, may be glass) on my foot. Numerous people have tried to get it out with tweezers, scissors, a needle, and nothing. It hurts to walk on it. Is there any way we are not thinking of to get it out? Thanks a bunch guys!

You should soak it in REALLY hot water for about 10 minutes, then try with tweezers. If that doesn't work, soak it for 10 minutes in REALLY hot salt water, I don't know why but it works. Those are the least painful ways to get rid of a stubborn splinter.
Best of luck,

Usually, splinters can be handled at home. But in some cases, you might have to visit the doctor. See a doctor if your splinter seems too deep, is bleeding a lot, your parent can't get it out, or it seems infected (red, puffy, warm to the touch, or containing pus). Splinters under the fingernail may be hard to remove at home. But usually, a grown-up can remove a splinter just fine.
You might have to try tweezers, and needle again. Good Luck!

I had a splinter in my foot when I was younger and my mom soaked it in water (very warm) for about 45 min. and then tried with tweezers and a needle..basically peeling the skin back with the needle and pulling at the splinter with tweezers. It took a couple hours to get but it did work. You can try soap too but be careful not to slip with the tweezers or needle.
Good luck :o( :o)

You should not try to dislodge the splinter with a needle or sharp object as this can cause an infection, if you have failed to remove it with tweezers, you should bandage over it without applying pressure and seek medical advice.

If it is wood, soak your foot for a while. The wood absorbs water and swells the splinter, making it larger and easier to snag. The water will soften the skin, making it easier to get the splinter out.

listen to me im the master:
soak it in hydrogen peroxide until u see it through the skin. then use a safety pin to pick skin away from around the splinter and try to lift the splinter up. then grab the tweezers and pull!
u might want to add rubbing alcohol somewhere in there as well

Soak your foot to soften the splinter and the skin in your foot, then try the tweezers and needle again.
